Parkinson’s Disease Conference
What a great success the Parkinson’s Disease Conference was on Wednesday 28 November!
After a three-year hiatus, the annual Conference was back bigger and better than ever, with around 350 attendees from around the region, many of whom have Parkinson’s Disease or are their carers.
Experts on Parkinson’s Disease spoke about wide-ranging topics about symptoms and cognitive changes, new developments and advanced therapies, the importance of exercise and a holistic approach to managing the disease, and the pivotal role of nurses. Attendees had fun participating in the interactive session on the role of dance in Parkinson’s Disease.
Thank you to everyone who attended and all those who contributed to make the day such a success.
