Why Your Support Matters
Stage 1 of a new ICC at GV Health’s Shepparton Hospital is due to start construction in 2026, supported by funding from the Australian Government.
This initial stage will be an important step towards equitable cancer care for our region, but cancer services at GV Health will still have to be delivered across multiple locations, and patients will still be required to travel long distances for complex care.
That’s why funding for Stage 2 of the ICC is urgently needed to secure comprehensive cancer care under one roof at Shepparton Hospital. A fully complete ICC means:
- Increased space and contemporary treatment areas
- Better access to treatment close to home for patients
- Reduced travel and stress for patients and families
- More coordinated, continuous care across services
